CCM’s Jennifer Stracensky, Chief Operating Officer, and Lauren Maxwell, Executive Vice President, were recognized by Mortgage Banker Magazine as a 2022 Powerful Women of Mortgage Banking. This award highlights 35 women around the country who are making meaningful contributions to the mortgage industry and serving as mentors for women in the field.
Stracensky has played a pivotal role in designing and implementing processes that have enabled CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM) to achieve record growth and borrower satisfaction. This includes establishing CCM’s industry-leading career development program, which has enabled successful careers for thousands in the mortgage industry.
Stracensky began her mortgage industry career in 1997, working as a branch manager and loan officer. She joined CCM in January 2012 as the company’s fifth member of the underwriting department. Today, she oversees a team of nearly 1,000 and is responsible for the company’s underwriting, processing, closing, post-closing, credit risk, corporate support, operations, training and construction functions.
Maxwell is one of the country’s top loan officers, the top female originator in Florida and a respected passionate leader, both within the CCM organization and as part of her local community. Last year Maxwell helped more than 1,000 families realize their dream homes, closing more than $329 Million in home loans. Scotsman Guide recognized her as the #1 top women originator in Florida, including most loans closed, top dollar volume, top purchase volume, and top FHA volume.
Maxwell began her mortgage industry career in 1987 and joined CCM in 2018. Today, she oversees over 70 loan officers, processors, and originators across six locations.
