Berea, Ohio, August 22, 2024 – CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM), the official mortgage partner of the Cleveland Browns, and Browns Give Back have teamed up to launch a new community program, HomeField Advantage. Through this partnership, the Browns and CCM will work together to bring a series of free, public events and activations to schools and communities throughout Northeast Ohio.
“Our partnership with the Cleveland Browns is rooted in a shared commitment of engaging Browns fans in unique ways and by making a meaningful difference throughout our community, both on and off the field,” said Eric Wilson, CCM Chief Marketing Officer. “HomeField Advantage is an opportunity for us to extend that commitment even further by continuing to bring good to our region through the love of football.”
With their official partnership kicking off in 2020 and the naming rights of the CrossCountry Mortgage Campus announcement in 2021, the Browns and CCM continue to work together to make a positive impact in the communities they serve. HomeField Advantage will provide members of the Northeast Ohio community with various engaging and unique experiences across the region throughout the Browns 2024 season.

HomeField Advantage will host a series of events including Play Football takeovers, high school pep rallies and recess takeovers at local middle schools. Milan Edison High School, who has previous ties with the Browns and CCM, will host the program’s first pep rally on September 6th. During the 2021 Salute to Service game against the Lions, CCM donated $100,000 to the school’s football program in honor of Max Soviak who fell in line of duty serving our country. Edison High School will be unveiling the new Freedom Field, in honor of Max, the same night. The program will also host other events in the community including events with local Browns Backers chapters and watch parties. A complete list of events through the 2024 season can be found below.
