Hi! My name is Celso E. Ortiz, but everyone knows me as the CEO. Born in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, I earned my degree in criminal justice at the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico before starting my career in law enforcement—serving as a municipal police officer, Tampa Port Officer, and even a Homeland Security contractor. But my passion for helping people led me to the world of home financing.
As a fully bilingual loan officer, I have a significant advantage in assisting Spanish-speaking clients. I’m dedicated to sharing my cultural heritage and knowledge, helping grow the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, and assisting my community with their homeownership dreams.
I’ve used my communication skills to assist many people while working for various mortgage companies in Florida and Massachusetts. With CrossCountry Mortgage, I’m committed to delivering a superior mortgage experience by providing straightforward, easy-to-understand advice so you can make smart financing decisions that benefit them today and in the future.
When I’m not working, I enjoy playing golf, traveling, and spending quality time with my family. I live in Hudson, Massachusetts, with my wife, daughter, and son. My daughter attends UMASS Boston, while my son attends a private school for Autism in Marlborough. We moved to Massachusetts to seek better support and education for my son and higher education opportunities for my daughter.
